Video Friday: Ohio Green Schools

This is the first in a weekly series of videos that I will gather from other online sources and are meant to educate my readers on and what the architectural profession is doing for the community as well as other organizations within the building industry.  Just like the rest of the blog, there will be an overlaying theme of green/sustainable topics to also raise awareness of our environmental impact.

Therefore I am proud to start off with a video produced by the United State Green Building Council (USGBC) featuring my adopted state of Ohio’s governor, accepting the 2008 Leadership Award for the states new requirement to build and renovate all schools to LEED Silver standards using the LEED for Schools rating system.
